Scanalog
Scanalog – a magazine cataloging system.
Scanalog is a perfect fit for computer lovers. This system enables you to organize your magazines via a computer, instead of trying to find space in your home and time to organize your magazines. Below is a list of what I have learned about Scanalog:
What I really like about the product:
• No more magazine clutter
• Allows you to never lose another magazine articles, recipes, or design ideas
• It costs only $59.95
• There is a support staff for any problems that may arise by phone AND email
Why the product might not be for you:
• Takes up A LOT of memory on your computer – 64 MB of memory
• You already have magazines with articles of interest that you keep and never look at will you look at them when it is scanned and on your computer?
• You need 40-200 MB of free hard drive space
• It seems time consuming, and to someone who is already disorganized, this may be daunting
• If you are not into technology, this organizational system might not work for you
Scanalog is perfect for designers and people who genuinely re-read and use recipes, design ideas, and stories, and don’t mind learning new technology for the computer.
