For some people, keeping the home or office clean is easy.
It's fun, or at least not unpleasant, and it's second nature.
If you're reading this, you're not one of those people.
Personworks can help without breaking your budget.
Unlike a cleaning service that comes in regularly to do chores, Personworks will
develop a personalized system for you to keep your own space clean. That
means sitting down with you and learning what you do, your habits and
preferences, and working out a personal system just for you that makes it
easy to keep clean. We'll even work with kids, co-workers, or spouses to
educate them about what they need to do to help!
Real life example*:
Audrey was a single mom with an empty nest. She had
a very attractive kitchen that was filled too overflowing with tasteful
antiques, beautiful dishware, and stunning vases. Unfortunately, that
didn't leave much room for the food, which filled every remaining nook and
cranny. The kitchen looked like a beautiful disaster, and Audrey could
never find anything.
I sat down with Audrey and talked with her about her
priorities. How much room did she want for display, and how much for
actual cooking? What places were easiest for her to reach from the stove?
When she cooked, how did she arrange things in her mind? After discussing
this with her for more than an hour, I devised a system specifically for her.
It turned out that there were some shelves that couldn't
be seen by visitors that were convenient for holding food. I moved the
extra dishware out of these cabinets and arranged the food according to what she
used most often, labeling the shelves so she could keep the system up herself.
I then installed shelves in the adjacent garage, where she could keep her extra
plates. I knew she bought dishes regularly, so I made sure there was
plenty of room for the collection to keep growing.
Audrey has kept the system up for more than a year.
